A LETTER FROM THE OWNER

When I sit back and think about it, I get this unexplainable feeling. Grateful, accomplished, dedicated, loyal, passionate. Just a few words that come to mind when I reminisce about the story of Recon One.

1986, 1994, 2007, and 2018. Each of these years signifies an evolution. Of course, there’s many chapters in between, but these years carved the path to where we are today. There are countless stories, so I’ll have to get into that history lesson at another time. For now, I can add 2023 to that list. A year that significantly turned a page in the R1 story.

Today, I want to Celebrate the Grind. The grind that has made Recon One what it is today. A retailer, a reseller, a promoter. With the launch of the new website, I welcome not only our incredible clients, but also the new collectors and enthusiasts that have sparked the passion for high-end knives and gear.

I wanted to build a platform that not only encompasses all things R1, but also to tell our story. Moreover, I wanted to elevate the visitor experience with a responsive site that works quickly and effectively. This painstaking process has commenced to a new platform that will allow us to expand on every level; all while keeping the experience clean and efficient.

Our new site is only the beginning. I look forward to sharing more significant news with you all in the near future. In the meantime, browse around and familiarize yourself with the new platform. It’s always a work in progress, so please bear in mind we are consistently updating.

I can’t thank you all enough. This story couldn’t be written without each and every one of you sharing this passion. And that incredible story continues!
