At The Sibling Rivalry Project, we channel our shared passion for craftsmanship, competition, and community into exceptional knives and gear that make a difference. Founded by a brother-sister team, Sako and Tamar, our mission goes beyond the shop — we're dedicated to honoring those who serve and protecting the families they leave behind.
A portion of every sale supports Angels of America's Fallen, a charity that uplifts the children of our nation's heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. As parents ourselves, we're deeply inspired by their mission to help these young lives grow, heal, and thrive through ongoing mentorship and activities.
Each unique build we curate — from our proprietary carbon fiber collaborations — represents our commitment to quality, integrity, and giving back. How the Auction Process Works for You
Bidding starts at either the table price from a custom maker or the manufacturer's advertised retail price, with 10% of the proceeds benefiting charity.
Are all knives sold by auction?
All custom knives will be sold by auction. Production knives will be sold by both lottery and auction.
Your Impact Through Each Bid
Zelle and Bank Wire payments will be accepted, while credit card and PayPal payments will incur a 4% service charge. with 10% of the proceeds benefiting charity.
Terms & Conditions
Lottery
- Prices are NET plus the cost of shipping depending on which method the buyer chooses. Credit card and PayPal goods and services payment options are subject to a 5% service charge. Zelle and bank wire are not subject to any additional fees.
- For international buyers using a domestic shipping address, select PayPal at checkout and enter your credit card information through there (you don’t need a PayPal account). Our credit card processor will not accept international cards even if there is a US shipping address.
- For international buyers with international shipping addresses, there is an additional shipping charge for FedEx international priority (this is the only international shipping method we use) and payment is by bank wire only. Please email sales@recon1.com to receive an international shipping quote before participating. Also, once the tracking shows that the package has left our shop, we are not responsible for any lost or seized packages. All sales are final. No returns.
- Winners will have 4 hours to complete their purchase after they have been notified. If payment is not received within this timeline, the winner will forfeit their ability to purchase and a new winner will be drawn.
- One entry per household. Your entry into this lottery confirms that, if drawn as the lottery winner, you agree to complete your purchase within the allotted time.
- Recon1 reserves the right to discontinue any person’s participation in future lotteries if the winning entry does not fulfill this commitment and complete the purchase of the winning item.
- Coupon codes cannot be applied to lottery items.
- All knives sold via lottery are final sales. If the item delivered is deemed defective, we will accommodate having it repaired or replaced by the manufacturer.
Auction

- The winner will have one business day to complete their purchase after they have been notified. If payment is not received within this timeline, the winner will forfeit their ability to purchase and a new auction will be conducted at a later time.
- Recon1 reserves the right to discontinue any person’s participation in future auctions if the winning bidder does not fulfill this commitment and complete the purchase of the winning item.
- Anti Sniping rule will go into effect within the last 5 minutes of the auction. 5 minutes will be added to the auction end time with every bid once the anti-sniping rule is in effect.
- Recon1 reserves the right to cancel any bid I see as fraudulent or not in good faith
- Coupon codes cannot be applied to auction items.
- All knives sold via auction are final sales. If the item delivered is deemed defective, we will accommodate having it repaired or replaced by the manufacturer.
