Refund policy
Returns are accepted on general, regularly stocked items as long as they are done within three days. This is enough time to determine if the items in your order are operational and if you wish to keep them. To initiate a return. you can reply to your order confirmation email, or email sales@recon1.com.
There is a 15% restocking fee on non-defective items to offset lost shipping, credit card, and labor costs on orders that have already shipped, and tracking shows it has left our shop.
If you cancel your order before it has shipped, there is a 5% service charge for cancellations to cover the cost that our credit card processor charges. We do not get credit card processing fees refunded when refunds are issued.
Once we receive the item, we will issue a refund. Your refund will be issued in the same form payment was received unless other arrangements have been made.
We do not reimburse shipping costs. If the mistake is ours, we can generally provide you with a prepaid return shipping label.
Exchanges are welcome as long as they are done within three days of receiving your order.
We strongly recommend you insure any package being returned to us. If your return is lost or damaged, we can do nothing. As stated above, if the item is being returned for a refund, it will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
IMPORTANT: Items purchased due to a lottery win, a special order, or a negotiated price lower than the price listed on our website do not apply to the terms above. All knives and gear sold via lottery win, a special order, or a negotiated price lower than the price on our website are final sales. If the lottery, negotiated price, or special-order item delivered is deemed defective, we will accommodate having it repaired or replaced by the manufacturer.
KNIFE SHOW PASSES
Tickets purchased for any knife show (online or in person) are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Exhibitors and Invited Makers listed and advertised are subject to change at any time for reasons beyond our control.
